AVE presents a new home automation interface that allows the AVEbus system to communicate with DALI\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>and DMX-II or DMX512 lighting bus.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Continuously expanding, the\u00a0DOMINA plus home automation<\/strong>\u00a0range adds a new device that makes possible the switching on\/off and adjustment of\u00a0DALI\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>and DMX-II or DMX512<\/strong>\u00a0lighting fixture\u00a0via AVEbus devices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This is possible thanks to the new 4-modules\u00a053AB-LIGHT home automation interface<\/strong>, that is designed to perform the function of a\u00a0gateway<\/strong>\u00a0between the AVEbus system and the above-mentioned lighting bus. In fact, the 53AB-LIGHT device is able to bi-directionally convert some choosable information that transit on the\u00a0home automation AVEbus<\/strong>\u00a0(coming from the command devices or the supervisors) and retransmit them on the\u00a0lighting bus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The default\u00a0operating mode<\/strong>\u00a0(DALI or DMX) is defined by the placement of a supplied hardware jumper. Furthermore, it\u2019s possible to force a\u00a0specific mode<\/strong>\u00a0– regardless of hardware jumper\u2019s position – by modifying the programming.<\/p>\n

The 53AB-LIGHT device also acts as a\u00a0configuration interface<\/strong>\u00a0for the main DALI\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0lighting bus parameters, allowing the user to exploit the same software application both to configure AVEbus devices and to configure addresses, groups and scenes of the\u00a0DALI\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0lighting bus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
