The AVEbus and connected thermostats have been updated with new humidity control features

The iconic AVE chrono-thermostat with rotary knob and color display, available in both wired and connected versions, now also offers humidity control in the summer for even greater indoor comfort.

Indoor well-being also depends on the air we breathe. Maintaining controlled humidity in indoor environments – whether in homes, offices, or industrial settings – has tangible effects: it improves health, increases comfort, protects materials and objects, and contributes to energy efficiency. The optimal level is between 40% and 60%, the ideal threshold for ensuring healthier, more durable, and sustainable environments.

With this in mind, AVE is introducing a new feature on its iconic rotary knob chrono-thermostats: humidity control in the summer season, now available in both the IoT-connected version (44xCRTxxx-W) and the AVEbus home automation version (44xABCRTxxx).

More control means more comfort in every project. Both models offer the ability to:

• monitor the room’s relative humidity in real time;
• adjust and view parameters directly from a smartphone or tablet;
• set three thresholds to activate dehumidification systems and stop thermal demand.

The graphical interface guarantees a simple and intuitive user experience, allowing precise temperature adjustment and optimal humidity management.

This update expands the potential applications of AVE chrono-thermostats and offers a practical solution for smart homes and intelligent buildings:

• The connected version communicates directly with devices in the AVE IoT series via Wi-Fi Mesh technology, eliminating the need for external gateways. This makes it an ideal solution for easily configuring and managing smart systems.
• The wired version is designed for the AVEbus ecosystem and provides advanced home automation control, making it perfect for professional environments, buildings, and large homes.

Both versions are available in a wide range of aesthetic finishes – aluminum (natural or anthracite) and techno-polymer (matt white Whitek, glossy white Domus, and black Tekla) – to blend stylishly into any architectural context. With the latest update, AVE chrono-thermostats expand their functionality, confirming their status as a solution of excellence, capable of combining design and technology to respond effectively to the new challenges of contemporary living.

Humidity management features are available starting from specific firmware and software versions. On existing systems, it is necessary to check the compatibility of the installed devices by contacting your trusted installer or the local technical assistance center.
